DatamedFT™ Compatibility

The Datamed® Format Translator (“DatamedFT”) is a software application running under Windows Server® on a virtual or physical server (refer minimum PC Requirements) connected to the hospital LAN. ECGs are received from the acquisition device in that device’s native format in a method consistent with that devices capabilities. Once received, DatamedFT™ converts the ECG data from the acquisition device’s native format into the destination ECG Management/Storage System’s format. Some acquisition devices may require additional hardware and/or software to allow reception of the ECG data. Our DatamedRcv™ line of specialized ECG data receivers are needed from some acquisition devices. After conversion the ECG data is transferred to the ECG Management/Storage System for loading. The translated ECG is printable, editable and retrievable as with native ECGs.

DatamedFT™ translates between over two dozen transmission formats providing compatibility with all major cardiology manufactures. DatamedFT™ equips doctors and administrators with greatly expanded options to cost effectively utilize existing cardiology equipment or select the best product solutions independent of vendor. DatamedFT™ also provides the one point acquisition source for EKG data into enterprise wide data and image management systems.
